The Ekiti State Police Command has arraigned a 19-year-old man, Joseph Andrew, before an Ado-Ekiti magistrates’ court over alleged house breaking and theft.
The prosecutor, Inspector Moyosola Adesola, told the court that the defendant and others at large, on April 30, at about 11pm at Pacific Poultry Farm, Ayegunle Quarters, Basiri Road, in Ado-Ekiti, stole one laptop valued at N160,000 and 25 litres of petrol valued at N21,000, property of one Gambo Benjamin and Prof and Mrs Omolade Adeleke.

The prosecutor asked the court for a short adjournment to enable her study the case file and present her witnesses.
