Eighteen passengers died and three others were injured in an accident that occurred along the Potiskum Dogon-Kuka route in Fune Local Government of Yobe State Thursday.
The accident occurred when a Golf wagon car with registration number BKD74SB had a head on collision with a commuter bus with registration KHE454.

The Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Yobe State Command, Hussaini Haruna, confirmed the accident. He said the accident was caused by a road traffic violation by the drivers.
He said the injured victims had been taken to Damagum General Hospital for treatment.
