18 graduate with 1st class from Dutse varsity

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Dutse (FUD), Professor Fatima Batulu Muktar, yesterday said 18 out of 294 that have graduated from the University made first class degree. Professor Muktar made the disclosure during the pre-convocation press briefing in Dutse, saying 139 obtained second class upper division and 137 got second class lower degrees in different disciplines.

The VC added that the convocation ceremony of the university slated for Saturday, February 11 would be preceded by a pre-convocation lecture at which the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mahmud Yayale Ahmed, would present a paper entitled, Universities in Economic Recession: The  Challenges of Administration and Global Ranking.
