Sixteen hours after one of the tanks at an Oando tank farm in Lagos caught fire, the fire rages on.

The fire, which started around 12:20pm on Thursday, still burns as at 4pm on Friday evening.

This is despite the efforts of various emergency responders at the scene of the tank farm.

According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), efforts were ongoing to subdue the fire as well as prevent it from escalating to other tanks in the tank farm located at Ijora Badia.

At the scene of the fire incident are; LASEMA’s Response Team alongside fire departments from Lagos State Fire Service, Federal Fire Service amongst others.
