About 1,500 exhibitors from 16 countries and over 200,000 visitors are expected at the 2021 Lagos International Trade Fair.
The 35th edition of the fair organized by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is scheduled to hold from November 5-14, 2021 at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos.
LCCI Vice President and Chairman, Trade Promotion Board, Mr. Gabriel Idahosa at a press conference to herald the annual event described the fair as the biggest trade fair in Nigeria, West and Central African
“Our brand promise is “Connecting Businesses, Creating Value,” he said, disclosing that the Bank of Industry (BOI) is a gold partner for the fair while TGI DISTRI, one of the leading distribution houses in Nigeria is the Health and Safety Partner as it will delight exhibitors and visitors with special trade show products and services during the fair.
Other partners include FEDAN Investment Limited and Lifemate Furniture.
Idahosa disclosed plans to host African businessmen and women in the Africa Hall to showcase their goods, services, arts, crafts, regulatory services, and particularly to promote Intra-Africa Trade.
“We believe that Africans must grow trade and investment among themselves to give full activation of the African Continent Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA),” Idahosa said, stating that the LITF platform is a great opportunity to achieve this.
