14th anniversary: Goronyo commends Sultan’s commitment to peace, unity

As Sultan Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar clocked 14 years on the throne, an enthusiast, Alhaji Zayyanu Aliyu Balarabe Goronyo, has commended the monarch over his sustained commitment to peace and unity in the country.

Commenting on the 14th anniversary of the appointment and installation of the 20th Sultan of Sokoto,  Goronyo expressed delight that Sultan’s reign has recorded many tangible development strides.

He cited the example of how the Sultan was fully committed to ensuring that Nigeria remains solidly united and peaceful.

According to him: “The Sultan has become a bridge builder across Nigeria, where he routinely shuttles to ensure local, national and international peace, unity and cohesion.

“The Sultan is also working round the clock to bolster education, at all levels , especially girl-child and Islamic education.

“A particular example is the planned All-Female Medical University in Sokoto and his recent facilitation of the JIBWIS Darul-Salam University in Hadejia, Jigawa State.”
