About 1,390 National Youth Service Corp members deployed to Borno state have concluded their three weeks orientation camp in Katsina.


Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 2018 Batch ‘A’ orientation course, Borno state governor Kashim Shettima assured the corp members of support and assistances to ensure a successful service year.

Represented by the state chairman of the NYSC governing board Mahdi Gazzali said government is sparing no effort through its rehabilitation, reconstruction and resettlement programme to restore and put in place structures to fast track development in the state.

According to him, NYSC provides a platform to develop ones great virtues of discipline, industry and patriotism.

In his remarks, the state NYSC director Rabiu Aminu called on the corp members to be law abiding and respect the cultures and tradition of their host communities and work diligently to impact on their lives.
