‘134 herdsmen, 11,915 cattle killed in Benue, Taraba’

Addressing newsmen in Minna, he said the killing took place in three states of the zone, including Benue, Plateau and Taraba.
Bosso added that the killing of the herdsmen and their cattle attained its peak shortly after the Benue State governor allegedly announced that he did not want see any Fulani herdsman in the state.
“All these atrocities were perpetrated by Tiv people. The police were aware, but they did not do anything to avert the ugly development,” he said.
He therefore appealed to governments of the three states to as a matter of urgency take action to stop the killing of herdsmen.
