Okpe said operatives of the agency had swiftly responded to carry out rescue operations.

She said a total of 22 persons were involved in the crash; 21 male adults and one female adult.

β€œ13 persons were injured (12 male adults and 1 female adult). No lives lost from the crash,” Okpe said.

She added that the crash involved three trucks, a Toyota Corolla car, and a Toyota Hiace bus.

She attributed the cause of the crash to road obstruction and over-speeding, leading to the loss of control of the wheels by the driver.

β€œThe injured victims were taken to Farmobis Hospital Mowe Lotto for medical attention,” she said.
