11th Summit: NDDIS attracts Foreign Direct Investment to Nigeria

The Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit (NDDIS) in London has announced its next ‘face to face’ investment summit in London.

Themed: “Invest Nigeria, Invest Africa’. Business to Business Match Making and Networking Summit’, the convening is scheduled to take place in the 4th week of May, 2024.

According to the Founder, NDDIS, Prince Bimbo Roberts Folayan, “this is our 11th year mobilizing investments into Nigeria, and the main aim of our summit for this year is to mobilize significant businesses to Nigeria on one hand and into Africa on the other, to help with economic recovery and poverty eradication across the continent. We also aim to create partnerships between Nigerian, African, Commonwealth and UK business leaders.”

He further noted that the summit will host about 400 delegates including Nigerian and African Diaspora Business Leaders from the UK and across the world, companies, funders and investors from the UK, Europe, and the international community. The summit will be hosted by the Acting Nigerian High Commissioner, Amb. Cyprian Heen and a couple of state governments have already confirmed attendance.

Expected at this important event are key speakers from Nigerian and African governments, their UK High Commissioners and ambassadors and other important leaders. Life Vice President of the official bi-lateral Nigeria/UK Chamber of Commerce, former British Ambassador in Africa and Senior Trade Adviser on Africa in the Foreign and Commonwealth office, Tim Morris, the Chairman/CEO, Nigeria Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon (Mrs) Abike Dabiri-Erewa are confirmed speakers amongst several others.

This year’s event is in partnership with the African Diaspora Direct Investment Summit and supported by the Nigerian High Commission, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Providus Bank and other partners.
