The Special Adviser to the Governor on Security Affairs, Brigadier General Dahiru Abdulsalam (Rtd), disclosed this in Damaturu, saying, “The ban on the riding of motorcycles is lifted with effect from 6th March, 2023, in the seven LGAs of Zone A: Bursari, Damaturu, Geidam, Gujba, Gulani, Tarmuwa and Yunusari.”

He said the motorbikes were to operate between 6am and 6pm daily, noting that they were not to be used for commercial purposes.
