11 travelers burnt to death in Kaduna auto crash

Eleven passengers have been killed in an auto accident at Mararaban Issah in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The accident, which occurred around 5am on Sunday, involved an 18-seater bus believed to be coming from Edo State and heading to Zaria.

City & Crime gathered that the bus caught fire and the passengers were burnt beyond recognition.

The chairman of Kagarko LGA, Nasara Auza Rabo, who described the incident as unfortunate, said the bus hit a construction vehicle parked by the road.

Mr Rabo said, “The bodies were burnt beyond recognition and they have been deposited in the mortuary for administrative purpose pending when we find their families.”
