The attack came barely one week after seven people were killed in three communities of Takai, Kunet and Kulias also in the LGA by armed men.
Meanwhile, Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has ordered security agencies to arrest and prosecute the killers.
He said the rising incidences of attacks and destruction of farm crops, livestock and other property within the general Bokkos area were becoming worrisome and must be checked immediately.
He sympathised with the families of the victims and appealed to communities to always be security conscious and report any suspicious movement to security agencies for immediate action.
Also, the Commander, Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) and GOC 3rd Armoured Division, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Ali, has visited the attacked community where he inspected the houses burnt and properties destroyed.
He ordered the deployment of more troops in the area and urged the community not to take the law into their own hands by engaging in reprisals.
