10,000 households to share FG’s N93.47m SIP money in Abia

The Federal government has released the sum of 93.47m naira for distribution to households in Abia State through the Abia State Cash Transfer Unit of the Social Investment Programm (SIP).

Mr Godwin Okeagu of the SIP office in Umuahia who disclosed this in a statement said arrangement has been concluded for the kick off of the payment to the benefitting households.

He disclose that over N800 million is being injected into the Abia State economy monthly by the federal government through the National Social Investment Program, adding that arrangements have been concluded to ensure that all 17 LGAs in the State fully benefit from the program.
