He said that the ADSN had positively impacted on the nation and humanity across the world.

Sanni said, “There is no doubt about it that the 100 years have been very eventful, impactful, and very successful. Because if you know the history of Ansar-ud-deen up to date, you will have known that we have impacted on humanity in a very significant manner.

“In terms of education, in terms of Islamic propagation, in terms of providing the necessities of life like healthcare and all others. But the next thing is, the next century, what we have to do because we cannot be stagnant. And that is why we are doing all these things. We are doing them in order to plan for the next century. And by the grace of God, our intention is to do more in terms of serving humanity,” Sanni said.

He also said that ADSN would do more in terms of propagating Islam; in term of helping this nation to come back to itself, because the nation had lost its values over time.

On his part, the Branch Chairman of the ADSN, Alhaji Abdulkareem AbdulAzeez, said that the estimated cost of the mosque, which started in 2020 and built for three years is about N200m.

He said that the benefits of the mosque to the community cannot be overemphasized especially where there are many residences and estates that the mosque would serve.

When asked on the mode of funding the mosque construction, he said that apart from members contribution, many others made donations and did not even want to be announced as they saw it as an investment for Allah’s sake.
