A 10-year- old girl, Glory, fondly called Baby by her parents, has been strangled to death in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.
A neighbour in the Badariya area said that the girl was playing outside their house when her mother asked her to go and clean up a room.
He said that when the girl did not return on time, the mother sent her younger sister, who was about five years old, to call her but that she was found being held by the neck with a rope against the burglary proof of the window in the room.
She noted that, “How she was killed remains a mystery. Nobody expected a girl of that age to be killed in that manner.”
