Ten of the persons kidnapped from the Federal Airport Authority Quarters (FAAN) in Ikara Local Government Area of Kaduna State have regained freedom.
The state Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, announced their release on Wednesday.

He said troops of the Nigerian Army on Wednesday rescued the 10 victims.
Daily Trust reports that armed bandits had on March 6th breached the security of the quarters through the airport perimeter fence and reportedly abducted between 11 and 12 people.
However, Aruwan while briefing journalists said 10 persons had been kidnapped in the attack.
He gave their names as: Mr. Ilori Sunday, Mrs. Celestina Sunday, Miss Beauty Oshaibie Sunday, Miss Miracle Sunday and Miss Marvelous Sunday.
Others are: Miss Destiny Sunday, Mr. Samuel Sunday, Miss Deborah Sunday, Hajiya Badiyatu Abdullahi Gambo
and Bilkisu Gambo.
He said Governor Nasir El-Rufai received the report of the rescue with elation and has extended hearty congratulations to the troops.
He said the Governor has also met with the rescued citizens to encourage them and assure them of the unwavering commitment of the Kaduna State Government to their safety while wishing them well as they reunite with their families and loved ones.
