The Kaduna Polytechnic has sponsored ten academic staff for various training in railway engineering in the India Railway Institute.
The head of Public Private Partnership (PPP) Unit of the institution, Dr Muktar Habib disclosed when he received officials of the Nigeria Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) who were on a working visit.
He said the decision to sponsor the staff was part of the plan to open a railway engineering department in the polytechnic.
The Director ICRC, Alhaji Mohammed Bamali, said the aim of their visit was to further re-enforce the federal government policy on ease of doing business and the transparency drive of President Muhammadu Buhari.
