A cult war that erupted between members of the Aiye and the Eiye confraternities in the Agege area of Lagos State has left one dead and many others injured.
The Aiye confraternity members were said to be from the Ayobo area of Ipaja who were allegedly on a reprisal attack to avenge an attack on their members recently.

The killed victim was hacked down with a matchet by suspected members of Eiye who cornered him at a popular spot.
When contacted, the Lagos State Police spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, did not pick his calls.
