Gunmen killed one person and abducted a businessman from his filling station in Keffi, Nasarawa State. An eyewitness, Rabo Muhammed told Daily Trust yesterday that the gunmen stormed the Mobil fuel station, Keffi, and shot sporadically before whisking away the owner of the station, Yaro Talle.
Muhammed said the manager of the station, Saidu Abdullahi, was shot in the leg and later died in the hospital.
A source told Daily Trust that the gunmen had contacted the family of the abducted businessman demanding for aN30million ransom.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Idirisu Kennedy, confirmed the incident, adding that the police was on the trail of the kidnappers.
