The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has warned that the indiscriminate dumping of refuse on roads could result in accidents and fatalities.

Mr Anthony Uga, the FRSC Sector Commander in Ogun State, gave the warning in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sango-Ota on Monday.

Uga said that the warning had become necessary as such practice had become more rampant and endanger motorists plying the roads.

He said that apart from the health implications, the dumping of refuse on roads could also result in accidents and fatalities. (NAN)
